Looking for the best destination for a bachelorette party, look no further. Cabo has everything to offer, plus some. The beauty of Cabo San Lucas is surreal, located on the tip of Baja California, makes this a very special get away and also for a bachelorette party. Cabo has an array of nightspots and fun day clubs, so get ready and get on down here.
First step is booking your fight and hotel. If possible, try and leave early on your departure date. Getting into Cabo is very easy. Customs and baggage claim are fast and simple. No doubt, you can be outside looking for your ride and having a cold beer or margarita while waiting for your driver. I always use Brown Transportation! They are magnificent! All you have to do is walk outside and look for your driver. He will have your name on a board, simple but it works. Brown’s has a fleet of elite SUV’s. Very clean and as you step in the SUV, you will find a comfortable ride with a cooler of goodies. This is a good time to ask questions, all the drivers speak English. If you need to make a stop, they will gladly do that for you. We always stop at a grocery store to pick up items for the week. There is a Walmart on the way, prices would be less there.
The ride over to Cabo San Lucas is about 45 minutes (depending on the location of your hotel) and the scenery is incredible.
Arriving at your Hotel
Cabo has just about every type of hotel and or villa you could imagine. Most all the activity is around the marina, so booking in that area is important. Don’t fret; there are lots of great hotels to choose from.
When you arrive at the hotel, grab some lunch. Check out the ceviche and guacamole, a divine choice! And it’s always good to have a skinny margarita or two. Afterwards head to your room, but first stop by the concierge desk to ask questions about the resort and other things. My experience is really good with the concierge, they have up to date info. Unpack and hit the pool and get your party started! Later, you might want to go down to the beach. Pop a nice bottle of champagne, toast to the bride!
Things to Do
While in Cabo, you have to go to the Mango Deck at least one time.
Situated right in the heart of Cabo San Lucas, on Medano Beach, Mango Deck possesses a supreme view of Lover’s Beach and the celebrated Arch of Los Cabos, where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean meet. The Mango Deck beach club is open 7 days a week so you can enjoy a variation of different breakfast items consisting of omelets, pancakes, Mexican specialties, breakfast burritos, fresh fruit plates and other choices. Their brunch features a wide selection of dishes, Mexican pancita or pozole, the Mexican solution for a hangover!
Mango Deck is full of entertainment. I’ve sat there at a table on the sand and watched some pretty interesting things! Think contests all day on the beach and tequila shots poured down your throat by your waiter. Oh course, I never would participate in such activities, but it’s hilarious to watch. It’s all fun and silly which everyone tends to enjoy.
El Squid Roe is a must to do! This establishment is a popular nightclub in Cabo, located just off the marina.
Founded in 1989, El Squid Roe is the largest party act in Cabo. Made up of three floors with five full bars, a clothing store, a full kitchen, private VIP areas, & more. The ambiance is similar to a house party, with an MC to guide the crowd through the night and an atmosphere that allows guests to feel free enough to dance on top of tables. El Squid Roe has attracted the likes of Beyonce, U2, Floyd Mayweather, Tupac, Emmitt Smith, Snoop Dogg, Drake, Rihanna, Jamie Foxx, Oscar De La Hoya, Alex Rodriguez, Tony Romo, 50 Cent, and many other celebrities. As most locals and tourists agree, this scene has been a milestone in Los Cabos for many years.
Cabo Wabo
Cabo Wabo originally owned by Sammy Hagar, has been open since 1990. The Cantina has long been one of the top places to eat and gather in Cabo San Lucas. Featured on MTV, VH1, E-Channel, Travel Channel, and in many dreams of partiers and would-be partiers, the Cantina holds a distinguished status among the world’s greatest fiesta-goers.
With live music every day, the entertainment at the Cantina has hosted top bands and musicians from all over the world. The restaurant is very good and is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. You can expect great seafood and Mexican food, DJ’s, live bands, and tequila; there are lots of reasons to make your way over to the Cantina! One of my favorite stops! Be sure to try the Waborita!
Omnia Cabo
This day club is on the beach and has a lavish design. Private cabanas and plunge pools, two story VIP bungalows on the lovely beach. A huge dance sight the Omnia gets more and more hoppin as the day gets going! The DJ plays poplar songs and takes request.
After you have connected with one of their team members and have reserved your VIP table of choice, you will then have a variety of custom options to select from, including:
- Two-Story Private Bungalows with dipping pools
- Private Bungalows (not including the pools)
- VIP Cabanas
- Hanging Daybeds
- Daybeds located on the pool deck and on the beach
- VIP Area Couches
- Club Couches
- Dining options at Casa Calavera or SHORE bar
Yachting in Cabo
No trip to Cabo San Lucas is complete without a trip out to sea.
There is only one experience that is worth getting up at the crack of dawn and that is a day of relaxing and sailing on Blue Sky. The beautiful scenery looking back at Cabo San Lucas is just amazing. Lover’s beach and the Arc are breath taking. Sea life everywhere, my favorite are the whales and the elephant seals. Blue Sky will accommodate any wishes (snorkeling, sailing, fishing, lily pad floats) making it even more special. The crew is also great, dedicated to make your trip a wonderful experience. I highly recommend taking this trip out to sea.
Have a fun time in Cabo. If you are just vacationing or with a group celebrating a bachelorette party, get down here and get your party started.
